The psoas muscle is one of the most important muscles in the body. It is located deep within the core and is attached to the spine and the hip.
This short Pilates series using the yoga block will help to relieve tension through the psoas/hip flexors, and is perfect to counteract the effects of prolonged periods of sitting, overuse or tension caused by stress or PMS.
You should always consult your doctor or health care specialist before performing any of the exercises on Alexander Pilates Studio, and you should obtain specific approval before performing any of the exercises in this program if you have any chronic or recurring injuries, or if you are pregnant, postnatal or elderly.
